@ unwrapped xmas 2012
So I didn’t get many good shots of our stall *sad face*… make that none at all. Sorry, these are the only ones that were (barely) passable to put up.

I fell in love with the Little Miso pendant above – totally digging Janice’s new painted range of jewellery!
Oh and guess who we were next to at the markets? …Future Shelter! All day I was eyeing off their lovely Christmas ornaments so towards the end, I bought a set of their wooden lasercut stars to treat myself for all the hard work I put in towards the market – it’s only fair right?
I’d like to say a BIG thank you to all those that came down to the city this passing Sunday and bought from Little Miso and Nevertheless jewellery! We really appreciate it, especially since it was a super hot day and I’m pretty sure I looked gross and sweaty the whole entire time.
rewind and catch up
I am terrible at this whole blogging thing!! Sometimes I just feel like there’s so many other blogs out there that I’m probably just rehashing a topic that a million other people have already blogged about several times over and over. Why or how would mine be any different or novel? I was reading my friend Janice’s blog (AKA Little Miso) and talk about rehashing … this post that she wrote recently has already expressed all the thoughts in my head and how I feel about blogging. It’s such a saturated area , especially with so many wonderful creatives sharing inspiring posts (not necessarily a bad thing!) that I just feel I don’t have much more to contribute. But in saying that I do like blogging, I’m such an introvert by nature (I have suffered for a long time and still do with social anxiety) so it’s definitely been a more comfortable way for me to communicate. I’m not entirely sure if you or others find my blog interesting – it’s kind of something that I would rather not think about, otherwise, I’d probably stress about being relevant and liked (I’m also neurotic and paranoid as hell…). So any ways, for this post I thought I’d just rewind a little bit and fill you in on what I’ve been up to while MIA.

So a while ago I turned 29 (trying not to focus that it’s only 1 year away from the BIG three zero) …my friends were too kind and framed an illustration that I liked by my friend Joanne Young (who has finally got herself a website, I’d like to think that our pester power made her cave in).
I quit my part-time job, they gave me flowers, I nearly cried. The people there were lovely but I just felt that it was time for me to move on.
This little wandering bear will be making an appearance at this year’s Christmas Unwrapped.
I ordered some washi and fabric tape from Crafty Japan, I have creative ideas for them, not just for wrapping gifts – hopefully I’ll be able to make it work and share photos with you guys.
Yes, decaffeinated green tea and making jewellery is how I roll on Friday nights…
I have been redoing some of my branding material, I just wanted to create a look that was more cohesive when it came to printed and web material. My dear deer over the years has become my mascot for Nevertheless, I think he is such a sweet little thing… and partially because I’m like a deer in headlights most of the time, a little bit awkward and unsure. The husband pointed out that if people didn’t know that he was holding a loveheart, that silhouette would make no sense – has he got a tumour (of course said like Arnie)? I guess he’s right… if you’re not familiar with the original my deer illustration, please see this image first then look at the stamp again – it’s not a TOOMAH.
If you’re interested in getting a custom stamp, I recommend Stamp-It in East Vic Park. They are super nice and super quick – the turnaround was unbelievable!

Not to freak you folks out but according to this Christmas clock, there’s only 63 days left till the 25th December (give or take a day depending on where you’re from I guess…). Cray right? Where has the time gone? At the start of this year, we bought our first home – I can’t believe we’re nearly approaching the 12 month mark in being here, it seriously has just zoomed fast. How has 2012 panned out for you?
Anyways, to the crux of this post. My friend Janice (from Little Miso) will be sharing a stall at this year’s Christmas Unwrapped in the City. Exciting! The details are below.
Christmas Unwrapped in the City
Sunday, 9 December 2012

We will be selling a mixed selection of jewellery, prints, paper goods and a few other surprise items. So please mark this date down on your diaries and we hope to see you there!
